Island Salt and Spa is a full-service day spa on Main Street in Sayville, NY, offering therapeutic massage, advanced facial treatments, salt room therapy, and a full range of wellness services. Our licensed massage therapists, trained estheticians, and certified practitioners bring years of experience to every session. We’re not a chain and we don’t do cookie-cutter treatments. Our team includes licensed massage therapists who specialize in chronic pain relief and stress management, estheticians trained in advanced anti-aging techniques like microcurrent and JetPeel technology, a licensed acupuncturist, and certified Reiki practitioners. We also accept NYSHIP insurance for qualifying medical massage, making regular therapeutic care more affordable than you might expect. Our Himalayan Salt Room is one of the only salt therapy rooms on Long Island. Himalayan salt has long been known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. While halotherapy is a relatively new treatment in the USA, it originated in the salt mines and caves of Eastern Europe where many cultures have benefited from salt therapy for centuries. The first spa was reported in Poland with records dating back to the twelfth century in the form of salt baths. Today, our clients use salt room therapy and halotherapy sessions for seasonal allergies, sinus congestion, respiratory support, and overall relaxation.

Our practitioners are the reason clients come back. Every massage therapist on staff is New York State licensed with specialized training in therapeutic and deep tissue techniques. Our estheticians hold advanced certifications in anti-aging treatments including microcurrent technology. Our acupuncturist is fully licensed and creates individualized treatment plans for pain, stress, and overall wellness. We don’t just hire anyone. We hire people who are serious about what they do.
